1997 Porsche 993 Carrera 2S

PostPosted: Tue Oct 23, 2018 10:41 pm    Post subject: Who knows about wheel sizes for the C2S? Reply with quote

Have noticed there are some E88s in the for sale section on here last used on a 997. Anyone familiar with ET sizes who would know if these would fit a 993 C2S?

18x9J ET50 x2 fronts
18x12J ET55 x2 rears

And are they lighter than Hollow Spokes?

Dont know

Fronts would probably fit without issue if you stuck with the OEM tyre size.

Rears would be a problem IMO. You have an extra two inches in width and the majority is on the inside due to the lesser offset. Basically the inner rim would sit about 40mm closer to the inner arch and suspension components which would inevitably foul.
You'd need to play around with spacers to ensure inner clearance and then depending on tyre size, the arches would need rolling to accommodate.

Re weights, BBS are light but not sure how light. I'm sure there will be some info available on their website.

Tyinsky, you are in luck. Very Happy I have a set I ran on my 993 Turbo. These have been refurbished and boxed ready for the next owner. They won't fit my RS.

I have the wheels and the correct spacers.

PM me if you need more details. I wont be hard to deal with. Wink
