For some reason my car has developed a single loud tapping noise on a cold start for which I feel sure is just a lazy cam follower the noise goes as soon as the oil has circulated, then the engine runs as it as it should, the oil pressure is good it doesn`t smoke, doesn`t use oil but annoyingly after it has warmed up there is now a very light single ticking noise its not overly noisy and you would be hard pushed to record it,
I hate noises if I don`t know the cause so has anyone else had this happen?
