Mobile specialist

Agreed. Sounds interesting and would like to see comments from anyone who's used them. I think they will be very limited by what they can do outside your house though.

I'm not sure they have actually started yet, but look to be taking bookings, if they are experienced from elsewhere then someone will know them, might be grim in the middle of winter but I suppose the nvs people do it

I cant make out if the prices are plus vat or not :dont know: .. if includeing then they are cheap .. if not then £5 cheaper than us in the south for a service on a 997 .

No reason why they couldnt do the same job as any Indy/OPC .. a little hard at the side of the road with a half lift so i think they are aiming more at service / brake jobs as thats the most profitable for a garage .

Fault finding being the least profitable .

Either way its a good choice for work at home .. need some reviews really .

We have two mobile porsche trained techs in this area , I havent used one but the other James from JMBautomotive knows his stuff and I use him for most things , he can fix many of the service and general fault issues at home or office , sensibly he has negotiated ramp time at a friend of his garage so he can do those more complex jobs . hes also spent time at an indy so hes not stuck in the replace with OE as I cant fix or find an alternative part mode that seems to be at the OPCs now :thumb:
