it looks like a water hosing as its where the engine hose comes in

the drip looks and smells like coolant. its only small and its coming from that bottom bolt you can see on the square housing.

have tried to get it re sealed but no luck

anyone else had this? or is it new part? any idea what its called?

Looks like the 3.4 from the side of the oil pump

Or the coolant hose is weeping between the rubber hose and aluminium pipe and dripping from the bolt with it being the lowest point. Sometimes the alloy can corrode and expand the pipe creating small pin holes for coolant to escape.

You need to clean up the connection and it's usually good to go again. It could be the gasket as RP mentions, but while you have the coolant drained I would do both just in case.

Also check you other hoses for the same weeping while you have it drained.
