Battery light on my 996

Guys leaving the petrol garage this morning, sec the car started, got a battery light then after couple seconds went out. Battery voltage all normal nothing seemed out the ordinary battery got replaced last year. Can it be a alternator going nad
 
Could be a once off gremlin... if the volt meter is reading 14v when the engine is hot and when you switch on lights and rear demister (loading the system) you are good.
 
My alternator regulator/bushes wore out @ 103k miles. I got a replacement from frazerpart. Guy
