Knock noise from 996

Test drove a 996 c4s today and i noticed when i turned the car off there ws like knock noise coming from sort of middle engine ti gearbox.
Gears where smooth, clutch was soft and drove really tight.
Im thinking maybe bd dual mass fly??? Bad engine mount? Has anyone experienced such noise before
 
My thrust bearing rattles when I turn the engine off........and the one before it did too.
 
Do i need to address that and get it sorted asap. Its sounds like when the starter motor pushes out second you turn the engine off goes conk and stops probably less than a second
