Finally I found a solution: Kline Innovation exhaust tails.
I bought these and installed them, and then noticed that there was a very slight clouding on each corner of each tail.
Full credit to Kline - they replaced them immediately, saying that the resin layer was slightly too thick. Fabulous service from them.
I have since had the replacements on for over a year and they are excellent - no discolouration due to heat or anything else.
Also, they didn't want them back, so I am posting them for sale, but on the full disclosure that they were considered slightly defective by Kline, replaced without quibble, and therefore are NOT representative of Kline quality.
They are therefore 'used' - I had them on for about 35 miles before spotting that clouding on the corners. All mounting bits are included - a 5-minute job per side.
The tips are stainless body with HT silicone foam insulant between the inner s/s body and the CF outer body. Hence why they last.
Even my OPC has been prepared to overlook them on Ext Warranty - as that avoids me claiming for a THIRD set of OEM ones!
They are €750 new.
