Just had the light come on. Had the fault read by a mates snap on and it comes up code 8053 - drivers belt buckleshort circuit to battery positive'. He says sometimes this can be caused by a loose conector somewhere, but before I start diging about thought I would ask if anyone alse has had a similar issue ? Thanks in advance..

The chances are it needs a new belt buckle .. its a possible wiring fault see below .. resistors in the buckle make it more likely its a buckle fault .
