I collected my 993 last week, after being without it since the end of last year. I'm very happy to get it back!

It has received a fair amount of restoration work over the past 7 months, including a back-to-metal repaint, and a full engine re-build.

I chose Barr Tech in Cambridge for all the work. Whilst not Porsche-only specialists, they are very familiar with air-cooled 911s and I really liked the 2 brothers who run the garage. Most importantly for me, they are local so I could pop-in on my bicycle to chat and check progress.

Thought I'd share some photos...

Beautiful :worship: Absolutely better than getting a brand new car! What would I rather have, a new 992 or this?

Great work, lovely plate too👍

Nice work and that's some job going back to bare metal. :thumb:

Weekend warrior or balls out daily?

Wow...looks great and nice that you could see the car go through it's various restorations stages, enjoy driving it.
