993 muffler/bumper heat shield

Recently noticely my right hand heat shield on my exhaust is missing when I took my car out of hibernation. Don't know if someone has stolen one as it was riveted on so very strange. They were already on there when I bought the car years ago so anyone have an idea where I can buy one please? Have attached photos of my left one and the right one that is missing. Thanks in advance

Hello, I bought a pair of these with the fixings last year from my local Official Porsche Centre. Part numbers for the two 'heat protection' are 993.505.611.00/993.505.612. sorry, don't know which is left and right.

Brace yourself for the price of £40 or so each ex VAT.

I'd guess yours fell off as there is a risk of corrosion around the fixings which are just pop rivets. Probably better to re-fit with small stainless bolts and protect with some zinc chromate paste.

PS For various reasons I still haven't got round to fitting the shields which need bit of modification to fit a narrow body rear PU.
