Hi, Just bought my Cayman S 2008, has warranty but just after bit of info with a key problem, it came with 2 keys and both struggle to come out of the ignition when i want to get out, any clues why would be great thank you

Ignition key barrel failures are a fairly common issue on older Porsches.
Get it looked at next time its serviced, it might need a new barrel.

If it's under warranty why not just take it back and say "sort it out please" :?:

Give them some notice and ask for a nice shiny new Porsche to play in whilst they've got yours.

The Cayman has an electronic lock assembly .. its a bunch of switches basically .

Inside there is an electronic lock that can stick causeing your issues .

Inside the fuse cover there is a long thin metal rod .. if you look at your lock you can see a small cover on the outer ring ..

if you remove this cover then there is a hole for said rod .. insert that and see if the keys release ok .

With a Tiptronic car then it wont release unless the car is in park .. basically is the gear lever stiff to move ?
