PA1000 Alarm problem at the Ring

Evening gentlemen, a few of us drove to the ring for a classic racing wknd, got to the Hotel Durint, car wouldn't lock with the fob, used the key, fine..

Following morning nothing, new battery, faint glow on the light, still nothing..
Long story short, with the help of a few kind German Porsche racing teams, we got it going, a stressful few days..

Said teams all agreed this system does not suit the car and is generally a pain in the arse!

My question is what system do you guys recommend?

I hope to be at the Fairmile tomorrow, if it starts..
