Preventing tyre flat spots in storage

I can't specifically comment on whether they work on 18" rims or not as I have 19" but can't see why not? :dont know:

There was a relatively recent thread on here regarding savers with a mixed bag of believers and non-believers. I favour them however, as the car hasn't been on the road since last October and I'm 4000 miles away, I'll have to wait and see if the tyres are still round! :grin:

I just overinflate tyres and have left cars untouched for 18 months before with absolutely no problems with flat spots etc..... ps by the time you do use them the psi has usually dropped lower than norm and its that which causes flat spots over a longer term. Therefore I don't see the point in these tyre savers as the PSI will drop whether you have them or not :dont know:
