How do I get the air line off the air filter housing?

Afternoon chaps,

Thought I'd change the air filters today. I've changed the passenger side filter , but am struggling with getting the air line off the air filter housing? I've got no green cap, but I've been pulling pushing an poking and cannot get it off.

If anyone can steer me in the right direction I'd appreciate it
