Hello everyone.
So I have had my Porsche Cayman for two months and I absolutely love it.
Everything has been going swimmingly until yesterday.
I was driving along merrily and noticed the volume was not working on the radio , no big deal I thought and carried on driving. A mile down the road and all the dashboard lights flashed on and now the dashboard is completely dead , no dashboard lights , I can't see how fast I'm going or how much fuel I have.
The car drives perfectly apart from this. I checked all the fuses with a fuse tester and all seem fine.
I have booked it into a Porsche specialist on Friday although the reviews don't feel me with joy, they are quoting me £85 per hour which is fine as long as they can find the fault.
I just wondered if any of you knowledgeable people have every had the same thing or could give me some pointers on what the problem could be and how painful it's going to be for my wallet ?
I really don't know very much about cars so I am apprehensive that they might try there luck and it might just be something simple.
It's a 2010 that's done 46K, I bought it two months ago and am hoping this is just a one off piece of bad luck.
Thanks for taking the time to read this
