Thought I'd share and update on my previous post of my breakdown: So a couple of weeks ago, some will know, I broke down in my current 911 Turbo. Nasty noises (like something had fallen and rubbing on the rear wheel) in a 30 mph then no drive at all. Took 11 hours to recover as twice the recovery company sent vehicles that where not fit for purpose as my car is so low as I told them. For me, being highly tuned - it was suspected gearbox / clutch although only done 2k miles since putting in an 850nm and Fly. So all in all it was not a nice day, had dinner, lunch and evening meal in Morrisons Canterbury

In Morrisons car Park and getting fed up...check out the track style tow hook !!

Off to Porsche..

Got it back today, after it had a rear driveshaft fallen off, due to the specialist not torquing it up correctly when fitting the clutch, the other side was just hand tight as well, it did £2k of damage (I am taking the matter up with the specialist) So not the car but the people that work on them !! Restored my faith in a 911:thumbsup:

Picked it up to today and they washed it for me, big mistake, spent the rest of the day removing the swirls!! made a big impression and loads of offers to sell :thumbsup:

Now home and safe, and being a nice weekend the detailing will continue

Glad it's sorted. Possibly one of best looking 997's I've seen :thumb:

Good to see it back!

Hopefully you'll get your cost back and put it down to experience!

That'll give you 2k for mods! :thumb:

Thanks so much, means a lot, and if you can get one, such a great, great car :thumb:

Great looking motor, black on black? If I was to move into water cooled, my 1st choice would be black on black

A 911 turbo in my eyes, is supposed to be black, it's, well, it's colour, just like a Ferrari is meant to be red.

Glad it's back.

See you both at Leeds Castle next week.

One hell of a cool 997!!

Keep us updated with the Indy claim.

Looking good at the moment.

Are you guys going on the Saturday or Sunday?

Working on both days but currently trying to get the Sunday off so I can pop along.
