Hi all, looking to upgrade to a set of coilovers on a 50k mile 996t.

Interested to hear what for members have gone for / rationale..

Also interested in whether any other suspension components should/could be included as part of any suspension swap

Last point - likely labour hours to swap?

Many thanks

I have H&R coilovers...were on the car when I bought it:

Seem OK, can feel the bumps but not much 'rocking' when braking/accelerating :thumb:

Long running article in 911 & PW re 996 suspension.

Author settled on Ohlins coilovers.

What are you looking to get out of the swap? Lower? Less body roll?

The only thing I'm 'wanting' is a lower profile, but unfortunately speed bumps around my estate and at work mean that putting on a set of coilovers will make it significantly less enjoyable to drive daily!

Get a front end lift kit I think cargeaphic do one with a bilstone combo

Coilovers

Watching with interest as this is my next area to fettle :thumb:

I purely want to refresh the main suspension components with a more aggressive stance to pair with some 19" BBS LM's purchased last year....i will revert to standard suspension / wheels once the novelty has passed.
