Is it recommended to apply some sort of lubrication to the drive mechanism of electric seats? I feel my drivers seat is not as smooth as it should be, the passenger side is definitely smoother.
Any advice regards up-keep welcomed.

When I removed mine a few years back for a deep clean I greased the rails.
I gave them a clean first of course and it did improve matters.
I also noticed that when I fitted a new battery that the seats moved quicker.

Many thanks for your input, so just the rails.

Start with the rails and see if it makes a difference. I suspect it will as was probably last done at the factory.
