Absolutely livid with myself.. I just scuffed my back rim (drivers side not that it makes a difference) whilst driving out out of a multi-story car park.

Has anyone here refurbished their rims during ownership? is it worth doing?

I always knew the day would come during this ownership there may be battle scar of some kind but right now it hurts.

Easily done, the kerbs are usually quite high too.

But most car parks were built when people were driving MGB's or Mini's or Hillman Imps :floor:

Chris W at Exel Wheels is your man for a refurb.

Or you could just buy a replacement on eBay and sell the old one :dont know:

As HSC says Chris at Excel on here will collect your rim give you a spare to use and retrurn the rim refurbed .
Or I have used the wheel specialist in my are but understand from others that as they are a franchise some are not as good as others so it depends on where you are.
I have had all mine refurbed and still have to go several times a year and get one redone usually one of the rears. :thumb:

I'd also recommend Lepsons.

Me too but if OP needs a wheel in the meantime then I'd go for Chris W

As Phil says, some are better than others :nooo:

Everyone thank you for your recommendations they all sound like good options.

I am in Essex by Epping so hope one of those options will be able to accommodate this region if not I will be back looking for more recommendations.

Thanks again.

If you ring Lepsons, they will probably be able to suggest somewhere nearby you can drop it off and collect when done.

Chris at Exel .
