I have to post this and name and shame OPC Colchester :x

Today after arranging a viewing on two of their advertised used vehicles they have for sale, I drove 100+ miles to Colchester. On arrival 15 minutes early for my pre-arranged appointment I was greeted by the salesman to be told one of the vehicles was not even on site today and the other is in the workshop being prepared for sale. :wtf:

His words were with no apology, I did not think you were coming far so never called you.

Unbelievable

OPC at its finest :dont know:

Appalling. Sorry to hear that as you'd expect better from a premium brand

erm .. how to become an ex salesman in one easy lesson .. annoy the customer !

Try Mid-sussex .. sometimes they can get in cars from other garages .

I doubt it will cut much mustard but you can always say iain from the workshop recomended you as he knew you would be looked after .

Andy Crabb is the GM.

That's not how to treat customers or any potential customers.

Not at all surprised, had a similar thing at an Essex Audi dealer recently.

It's an Essex thing I'm afraid, far too easy for many dealers to sell cars here nobody has to try.

Breath taking arrogance comes to mind.

Most cars our family have bought in the last ten years have come from many miles away, my friend went from Essex as far as the Manchester area for a new Mazda, local dealers just don't care.

Apologies for the behaviour of my fellow Essex men!

MoFo's! :gunfire:

If you're not wedded to the idea of buying from an OPC, excellent specialist independents within a similar distance like 911 Virgin, Harbour Cars, Chappel, JZM, RPM, UberGT would never do that, any of these guys would look after you properly I'm sure.

So long as they have a car you want of course.
