Power probe is old and i had it before starting on Porsche but its still usefull .. ie 993 window motor , 993 or older central lock solinoids .. various bits but usually when removed from the car .

Not at all safe to use on modern cars especially with components still wired to the car ..

My disclaimer Smile

Phill .. he has my sympathys ... so much paint and leather .. i would have to have a shower and a change of clothes just to get into your car lol

Just noticed I made that video 2 years ago when I started up. Would post a new one but it might breach the sites code of conduct with some of the.....err......'wall art'.

No pics of mine, not as comprehensive as Demort,s, but I have 2 lots, one at the home garage, and another tool chest at my other garage down at my mothers place, this is where I do most of my car fixin now as it has more room, not quite a double.
I am very protective of my tools and they are only loaned to trusted individuals who will return them.
We do quite a bit of lending between " Porsche" mates if we do not have something ourselves.
I work in engineering which helps a lot as I am getting a spacer knocked up by a mate in the machine shop shortly to enable 944 rear wheel bearing removal.

Ooooh great thread!

I'm at work currently, otherwise I'd post up some of mine, including a multimeter I've just bought.

Problem is I don't know one end of a multimeter from the other as Demort recently found out!

I asked my electrician friend the other day if he had a voltmeter (meaning did his Maserati have a voltmeter on the dash). He just looked at me like I was stupid Embarassed

Any pictures are greatfully recieved .. tools to me are like your cars to you !

All pictures can be expanded so hopefully people might also find something of interest that they could use .

Ive now got 4 mutimeters .. but the old fluke one is more sentimental .. £500 something like 15 years ago .. still works but the LCD is faded and the pins need replaceing .

The Fluke served me very well for many years .. had a refurb done on it too keep it going and now it needs another ..

Awesome bit of kit .

Latest is snap on .. so made in China i expect but colour LCD , Relative mode for compairing voltages , ohms lead zero and min/max so it covers it all for what i need .. shame they all have a/c as its not something i use .

I wanted a PWM setting but we were upto £500 for that .. cant justify it .. not on my wages anyways lol .

Need a good scope next .. time to start saveing Smile

get your camera out when ever you get the chance .. love to see your setup .

Heres one drawer of mine.....

Top tip -£2 Ikea cutlery drawer inserts. I sliced a bit off the tray and inserted it adjacent to fit perfect.

This one: http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/products/kitchen-products/kitchen-organisers-shelves/st%C3%B6dja-cutlery-tray-white-art-00177225/

Now the tools don't end up in a jumble.

There is one socket missing.... its currently holding up my engine...

They also do this one http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/products/kitchen-products/kitchen-organisers-shelves/st%C3%B6dja-cutlery-tray-white-art-50177223/
