Easing myself back into work by planning what I want to do to my C4S this year! Few essential bits (like replacing ageing but not worn tyres) and some 'fun'.

New tyres (thinking PSS or PS4 front and PS2 rear to try and dial out some understeer) and a geo

Centre console delete

Add a bluetooth kit of some sort (probably an iSimple Tranzit Blu HF as I wan to keep the CDR-23 head unit)

Replace cat/manifold gaskets (may do a 200 cell X-pipe upgrade at the same time to maximise the labour spend! - man maths at its best)

997 GT3 shifter

Add some carbon and alcantara bits to the interior

Get a couple of small dents removed by a PDR guy

Depending how things go, I may get the clutch and IMS done at RPM (44k miles so preventative really) and may then also consider the CSR flywheel

What are you planning to do to yours?

Mines in with Desinls at end of the month for full interior refresh.

Clean it. Drive it occasionally. That would be an improvement over 2017

Fuel, tyres, fuel, roof, fuel, alloys, fuel, tax, fuel, mot, fuel, service, double din, tyres (again), fuel, fuel, autotrader ad.......hopefully.

Blimy. Right. So. I'm no order:

1. New clutch, IMS bearing (don't go there) & RMS
2. New condensers.
3. 200cell x pipe cats, and possibly manifolds.
4. RSS engine mounts
5. New ARB's and bushes
6. Full recondition of alloys (or new ones)
7. Replace rusty break lines

There are lots of other little bits in the plan too...

New front and rear gas struts (bonnet / boot)
Caliper refurb
Wheel refurb
Centre console delete

Lemans Classic

What's next on the wish list Alex

WISHlist would be something like this.......but it won't happen unless I bump a few old relatives off.

Hi not posted for ages as sold cars to concentrate on sons racing and then my business. But 2018 is full on back into cars!

I have a small project on the go. Bought a 996 turbo (not seen it/driven yet as a dealer friend sourced it for me!) but it's being prepared and detailed by Paul Wilkins of Ultimate Shine in Scotland. The spec is for me, all reversible, but clearly not to everyone's taste.

New buckets retrimmed in alcantara and leather
New gt3 cup wheel retrimmed
harnesses and harness bar with rear seats removed
Metal pedals
Various alcantara

New rims colour coded to body colour and spacers

New switchable sports exhaust, induction and remap

Short shift kit

New German style plates

And then being full detailed by Paul.

My gt3 cup rear wing is hovering in the background!

Should be arriving mid January. I'll post some piccies when it arrives.
