The Porsche 993 was created in 1993 by Englishman Toni Hatter and retained the basic shell of the 964 and other earlier 911 models, but with revised external panels, with much more flared wheel arches and a smoother front and rear bumper design, an enlarged retractable rear wing, teardrop mirrors, but keeping the doors and roof panels. The Porsche 993 like the 964 came as a couple, Targa and cabriolet. The 993 will forever have a place in the heart of Porsche purists with it being the last of the air-cooled 911's. The 993 is often referred to as the most desirable 911, not only because of its stunning good looks but also because of the outstanding performance, even by modern standards. The Porsche 993 RSR was based off the RS. It focusses was on track but it was limited to driving on the road and you weren't even able to purchase it in America. The car itself is extremely lighter than the RS as the RSR is 1,270KG which with a 300 BHP, it can hit 0-100 MPH in 11.9 seconds.

The way the bonnet sits against the arch panel looks a bit odd, theres a great deal of blurb about RS and RSR but its neither of those.

Bit like advertising a Carrara with an aerokit and most of the add talking about the benifits and history of a GT3 and GT3RS

Very strange ad :dont know:

You'd think that they'd have sumeone too prouf reed the ad's!

Cheap as chips :thumb: My money is on Jonttt authoring (and valuing) it

I thought 'Homage' only appled to those knock off Rolex watches to enable sellers to punt them on eBay without infringing trademarks :floor:

Their proof reader hopefully wasn't involved in the build...dear God.
I thought these muppets were high end. The other 964 based 993 advert is hilarious.
I think prices have got so crazy and demand so high they can just say what the hell they want and someone will still buy!

Toni Hatter. So that's Tony's sister? She penned the lines of the 993 then?
