Guys,

My engine bay is mucky, not oily, just dusty.

Do you have any recommendations on techniques and products to use, just to clean it up?

Powerwash it with the engine running, but keep your distance with the jet.

Hi Alex,

I have a karcher, but I didn't think you'd be OK to do it with that!

Any areas to avoid over washing?

Cheers buddy

elbow grease and a selection of cloths :thumb:

The Autoglym "vinyl & rubber care" brings everything up looking lovely :)

Just watch out for spraying down the air intake spout and around electrical connectors (like on the throttle body if it's electronic). Keep your 'wand' at least around 30cm away from any parts you're spraying. Doesn't take much to wash off light grime and dust. Take it for a spin after to burn off any excess water sat on your engine. Also, avoid getting the sound-proofing above the engine soaked.
