What bulb do I need for my rear engine cover light please?!

As above, I've googled but can't seem to find a very simple answer!! Are the front boot and backlight the same?

A festoon style bulb. Can't remember the size, and yes it's the same as the one in the frunk
 
They're a funny size. Measure the old one to get it right. I couldn't find one in a factors and had to order from eBay.

unfortunately I'm missing the whole light assembly in the front boot so cant check that and the engine light one has shattered the glass with age so cant measure

Measure the distance between the spring contacts. It's a little more than 40mm IIRC.
 
I bought LEDs off ebay, they're much brighter.
