Hi all

Quick questuon, would a healthy compression test show if an engine had bore scoring or not?...

What would a 'good" compression test look like?

Thanks

Antony

First question: In a word no.The only way to determine scoring would be by viewing the bores with a borescope.

Second question: A healthy compression test would see all cylinders giving a similar reading in accordance with the factory tolerance.
