Hello all,
I'm thinking of investing in a fault/code reader for the 996 (Carrera 2). I have one of those cheap eBay bluetooth ones but they are a bit hit and miss depending on the vehicle and can only carry out basic functions usually.
So I was on the lookout for one that was more applicable to the 911 - something along the lines of the following:
http://www.design911.co.uk/fu/prod1...Scanner---Eraser-Diagnostic-Tool-for-Porsche/
Does anyone have any experience of using that^ one? Or can you recommend another one as an alternative please?
I have a fault appearing at the moment and have taken it to a specialist that checked and cleared it and asked me to come back when the fault reappeared (which it has now) to further pinpoint it "more exactly". For the sake of re-inspection fees I am considering whether it is worth me buying one of these (or alternative).
Thanks in advance
