Hi everyone, I am in need of the M96 X51 intake- NLA from Porsche it seems.

If anyone spots one/hears of one/has one on the shelf in a box I'd be extremely grateful if you could let me know.

Thanks!

Might be worth posting something on the 40th Anniversary website - they all had the x51 as standard. I think there might be a couple in the US that have been wrecked and broken for parts so you might get lucky. Ted Zimmermann is the main man out there and would probably be able to say if there was something about.

Cheers..........Ian

That's a great suggestion- thanks Ian.

They have a link to an X51 car being broken for parts in California, I've sent them a message. Fingers crossed!

I should probably ask for a price for the entire engine, but that would be somewhat expensive to ship I suspect!

If you can secure the whole engine and the seller is willing to crate and drop it off at a port Kingstown use then I wouldn't rule out shipping due to cost.

I have used these guys and they will simply fit it into the next 40ft container they pack.

Cheers Harv- handy for future reference.

Sadly this time round someone beat me to the punch and bought the whole engine, for $10,000.
