Hi All,
I am thinking of refinishing my gear knob as the aluminium finish has been attached by a wedding ring or something.(Tequipment Knob)
Has anyone had any luck with a colour match, or that can suggest a paint that works well?
I was thinking bead blasting it might be a viable option too.

Thanks!

To get a consistant colour then bead blasting might be the way to go , i know with the wheels that the colour is determined by the cut of the lathe .. ive tryed in the past to get a close enough paint for small refurbs but never had any luck .

Walnut blasting rings a bell but it depends on how deep the scratch is i guess .
