Porsche auction Silverstone

My money would be going on one of the few 3.2 Carreras.

Not sure if this is the right section, but the Porsche auction is on tomorrow.

What looks to you to be the better buys?

I like this - https://www.silverstoneauctions.com/1986-porsche-911-supersport-m491-3-2-carrera-coupé

Well they have a good selection of cars for sale, and only (+buyer's premium of 15% including VAT @ 20%) on top.
I wonder if you can find out what they sale for anywhere ?

Swamps :)

Results will be posted a day or so after the sale.

Or watch the live video feed via proxibid...

Currently on the memorabilia; cars start at 2.00pm today.

Looks like it went for £43,700 including buyer's premium.

:hand: I've found most cars get sold at top prices when you add in premium +VAT or they don't sell because the seller fails to remove their rose tintes goggles when considering how much their car is worth

Take for example Lot 212 the 993 Cab with the wrong wheels, wrong gearbox and a dodgy (to some) colour :what: . Engine bay doesn't look right without AC which you really do need when you have the roof up as the fabric absorbs the heat.

Clearly the 'estimate' is well over-egged which suggests a high reserve and it didn't sell. I reckon it topped out at low-mid 30 bags where it could do its dough. It is not a 50 bagger car :floor:

Having seen the prices of some I'm of a mind to give them my 964 to sell next year

ETA: Just checked the listing - PASSED. Top bid on site £32k.

Zingari: Premier UK Valuer of Porsche Cars :thumb:

I'll save you the commission.....25 bags!. What time can I come and collect? 8)

The 993 Turbo S has just sold for £261,450 inc 16.2% buyer's premium!

The estimate on this lot was set higher than the hammer price though. Clearly the seller had a re-think

Have just been watching this online, it must be nail biting stuff for the bidders. Well the sold prices are displayed and the auctions that I watched all sold for under the expected price. Overpriced or bargain's for some.
