Steering wheel Q

Yes the wheel will fit. Just bear in mind the airbag will look out of place against a newly trimmed wheel.

I have a spare one of these with the stitched leather airbag (full leather wheel) if anyone is interested.

As per pic.

Maybe better to look for a wheel in A1 condition and forget the retrim.
If you're after A1 condition, don't overlook the Porsche crest on the airbag...

It's not enameled like you might think - the black is screen-printed and very easily scratched, and the red parts often fall out and go awol. Boxster ones in particular tend to be in a sorry state - possibly after using a Disclok or similar?

And then there's the millennium edition crests, which are silver (instead of gold) and black only - no red.

It is possible to replace the crest with a proper enameled one for a 356 bonnet, but it's not particularly straightforward.
