Got to try selling privately.

If it's a rare cable-throttle with low mileage, it shouldn't take long.

£37 for an Autotrader ad; just sold a car on there in 6 hours!
 
It wouldn't be a cable throttle as all 996s went to e-gas in late '99
as far as I can remember.

That and it's a Carrera 4 with PSM. The cable throttle models
only had traction control (TC) as an option.
 
I own one of the 3 UK cars and it's currently in Australia, so I guess it makes yours rarer being only one of 2 currently in the U.K. At the moment
 
If it's got good maintenance paper work then it must be near £25k but a service history does not count as good paper work, you need receipt for remedial work
 
You have a car that someone will pay more for, because of what it is.

I would just advertise it at as many places as possible and wright as much bumf & bull as possible cables or not.

Goodluck with the sale, and hope somemugsucker buys it for more than you have in mind for it.

I would consider looking at selling it through a specialist... If is as rare as 2 UK car they would be able to give you a realistic valuation...

Are you really sure you want to sell it? You'll be gutted if in 10 years they are fetching 200k :lol: :thumb:
