Anyone fitted a reversing camera to a 996? The cameras built into the number plate surround look neat but are they any good?

I'm considering a camera linked into a double DIN head unit but haven't decided on that yet.
 
I have one the previous owner rigged up to a Philips double-din unit. Quite useful along with the parking bleepers. Camera itself is a tiny finger-sized thing.
 
Yep, you can hardly notice it, very good for reversing too, much better.
