Quick question but does anyone know who or what the part is that RPM use for their retro conversion wheel arch protectors is?

It looks like the photo below and might look rather nice on my C2 :)

Cheers :thumb:

I'm not sure what they use but I have seen similar on eBay as 'arch spats' or something. Available in clear, gloss black or textured black...

Not biased or nuffink....... but.......

I thought the shop bought spats/stone guards just look too big!!! Ok in clear of course, but I kind of like the look of the black on the classic Turbos.

So after much searching, I set about making my own set. I know this will upset the purists but just look at my car. Do you think I've not heard it all before???

I wanted a much slimmer design. I also wanted a little kick up to match the Aero Kit sills I have yet to fit. I also added a detail to clear the extra badges on my rear wing & added a text cut out for fun.

Here's the mock up on a lovely GT3.

Happy to make a few plain sets without text or front cut out. Aerokit Kick up optional.

Thanks C11BRA and for the advice

Funnily enough the other one that I found that I did like is also 'shopped onto a Yellow GT3 - if only they could get the inner line to exactly go around the wheel arch...

I can see that there is an attempt to line the top edge with the bumper line. And maybe the diagonal line is trying to match the door shut.

Personal choice in the end.

Just to round off the thread here's how they look on the 997 and are stock items I would imagine - following the wheel arch and in-line with the start of the back bumper line

They look great on your car. Discreet.

But when in contrast, black on colour, then style choice is more important.

Really obvious how flared your arches are btw. You really need them for protection.

Mine are more for looks. If I get bored with them, I can peel them off.
