That's lovely but any pics of that Gulf coloured one

I have to say that my personal taste runs to the narrow body cars, for a road vehicle.

The wide body is a part of Porsche's DNA, but the purity of the 911 design is borne out best by the compact dimensions of the earliest cars.

I was at Precision Porsche for their open day earlier in the year and the car that won my "Would most like to leave in" award was a very slightly tatty long-nose targa, narrow body car.

that does look crap though compared to the Singers.

Singer have got the arch / wheel proportions correct and also managed to keep a low sill etc along with the correctly proportioned bumpers etc

:floor:

I wouldn't say crap....still gives me a semi rather then a full on robot chubby like the Singer does

The Singer will probably be 10 times as much money too

HSC911, no more pics of the Gulf colours, but if you look at this thread..."North East run , LOTHERTON HALL 23 July" in the meets section there are more photo's and a nice Go pro video of the day.

HOT66, James not everyone can afford a singer and if I was an enthusiast of old models with modern fixtures then the recreation just might be in someone's budget. Everyone to their own as long as they are enjoying Porsche. :thumb:
