Hi Guys
I bought a 2012 cayenne 3.0 diesel (done 56kk miles) earlier this year privately which came with Porsche extended warranty; this was transferred into my name
I had the car inspected by a Porsche specialist and he highlighted the following problems
Oil leak on the back of the engine – engine out job
Rear shockers leaking/misting of oil
I myself noticed the silver boot lip trim appears to have tiny bubbles behind it?
So I booked my car in at the local OPC and they told me they will carry the repair for the oil leak under warranty, but won't do anything about the shockers as it's a wear and tear item, and they wouldn't do anything about the silver trim as it's a cosmetic problem?
I would thought shockers should be covered and certainly not a wear and tear items like tyres and brake pads?
Anybody have any thoughts on this?
