What are the thoughts on this? This was on my list also, a tidy 996 with aero kit.

https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/porsche/911-carrera-996/porsche-996-carrera-4-with-factory-aerokit/7153254

Thanks

good history, nice spec and looks nice! It certainly appears to have been looked after. PPI with scope and eyes wide open as to potential pitfalls of owning these types of cars as they all cost good money to maintain and it will never be cheap.
have another read of some buyers guides, the advice here and watch a youtube video or 2 and go armed with the questions you need answering.

The only thing I am not sure about is the extra radiator?

If it feels right then it probably is, if it doesn't then walk away Wink

Yes I will get the car PPI'd first.

Where is the extra radiator? I can't see anything about that?

Thanks

Low temperature thermostat fitted as recommend by Porsche to run the engine at lower temperatures
Centre radiator
Genuine GT3 split rim BBS wheels

I thought only the GT cars had the extra oil radiator and I recall seeing some discussions previously on here that some people add an extra radiator to assist with cooling but there was some debate about it's effectiveness...way outside of my knowledge base though.

All Tiptronics had the centre radiator as standard.

The reasons why were discussed here => http://911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=60831&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=center+centre+radiator
