I am going to do an oil change on my 2005 997.1 C2S and was wondering if any one can suggest the correct oil other than Porsche. The part number on pelican is 000.043.304.01 which when i search online is ATF3353 Plus. The problem is pelican recomend atf3353plus for the older 996 then go on to say the 997 uses a newer lighter oil but they are both the same when searching the part number.

If anyone can offer any advice it would be greatly appreciated. [/quote]

I did heaps of investigation into the correct oil for my 996 tip, but when I used the same channels looking into your 997, all I get is "specialist product" :dont know:

Do you "need" to change your fluid? is it slipping? have you done over 96k miles?

Hi

It's only done 76k but I have seen a few people saying to do it sooner than later. Just thought be safe rather than sorry.

Cheers
