ccu connections

Both connectors have two "toes" on the end of an arm that locates the connector to the back of the unit.

The connectors have a different number of pins so they cannot be accidentally connected to the wrong port. They also have the toes and arms at the opposite side of the other.

Make sure that none of the pins are bent by previous efforts first

So to connect them you have you engage the toes and arm before locking the connector down. To do this come in at a 45 degree angle and make sure the arm/toes are engaged before pushing the connector in.

If you still have problems the loom is quite long, you can pull it down under the dash and try test fitting the connectors with much more room to see what you're doing...

Best of luck. It's easy when you get used to it.

thanks for that. ..much appreciated. hadn't realised the loom is long enough to pull under dash to trial fit, so I'll give that a go. connections are quite short when coming out of ccu slot, which def makes it more tricky to see what's going on.
