Hi, anybody had experience of fitting a 993 turbo front bumper to a narrow bodied car?

I'm getting conflicting advice, some say it's a straight swop others are telling me turbo front wings are wider/different so it won't line up on a C2.....

Anyone made this work? I'll be grateful for any advice!

thanks, Mike

I had mine done, straight swap, I like it but it may de value the car as they are not to everyones taste and non original

Keep the old bumper and hang it in the garage or under the sink/stairs......

Hope it all goes well, where are you sourcing the part from?

My targa already had one fitted when I bought it. IMHO, it works well.

thanks AP90, and that was going to be my next question!

In my experience buying new from Porsche should ensure it's a good fit, you just have to pay the price. I'm not so sure about aftermarket suppliers and their quality and fit, so maybe trying the breakers both here and in the US for an original might be an idea.

Unless of course someone here has one going spare.......:?:
