Buy used and recondition is usually the cheapest way.

Or Wanted ads on all the forums.

But new; maybe Carnewal?

Got this from Rennlist:

996 351 431 90 LH Caliper
996 351 432 90 RH Caliper
997 351 405 01 LH rotor
997 351 406 01 RH rotor
996 352 086 02 Pad dampners
996 351 948 00 Pads
997 355 587 03 LH Brake line (As per my earlier post)
997 355 588 01 RH Brake line (As per my earlier post)
996 355 139 01 Brake hose (I replaced mine as the system was open)
996 351 959 30 Caliper hardware (not required if you buy brand new calipers as they come with them)

Worthwhile upgrade IMHO :thumb:

Just for the looks alone:

I do think they look better, which is why I have them on my car. With good cooling on the standard brakes and decent pads you have to go some to need it though. I managed 13 consecutive emergency stops from 70mph with accelerating hard in between stops and there was no fade on my standard brakes. Front disk temperatures were up to about 500 degrees.

It's a while ago I did mine but don't you only need spacers on rear callipers to make it so you can run 350mm all round?

I brought the whole lot from Thomas (pro calipers) on here. He did me a good price on a refurb set with mine as a part exchange. He also supplied me 997 discs, pads and all bolts / spacers etc. I opted to do the rears too and spaced out to 350mm. The discs fill the hollow spokes nicely and braking is a lot sharper.

I got mine upgraded by 9E for peace of mind on track days - 70mph stops were always fine with the stock brakes, but repeated 130mph+ stops tended to make them grumble. Bigger calipers and discs, combined with better fluid, hoses and pads means that it'll nosedive from 150mph with enough force to hang you in the belts all day long now. That means I can lap with confidence, knowing I can decelerate as well as the car can accelerate. It's the single best upgrade I've done.

And yes, they do fill the standard wheels beautifully. :)

It have a complete set of standard 997.1 GT3 rotors (f&r) if they are of any use to you. Less than 5000 miles on them. PM me if you are interested?
Cheers
Stuart

They look incredible

does the 997.1 turbo brakes go straight onto a 996 turbo?
I understood that they did and the 997.2turbo don't, without mods/spacers etc.
any thoughts gents?
