My 996 project continues, as is the way whenever I start a specific task, cleaning & rear suspension in this case, I inevitably find other things that require attention that I can not ignore!

Can anyone help with the identification of this part, and if at all possible provide a part number, I have checked the PET but am not 100%.

Car is a 3.4 C2. - Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply, the part you highlighted looks right, however the car is a manual not a tip, - thoughts? :?:

That's a gear selector cable end. The cable is only available as an assembly that includes both cables. Mine was similarly corroded when I replaced it recently. The part number is 99642424100.
