As they are saying now that its ok for them to fit a aftermarket exhaust, but if any one else (including any Porsche specialist) fits it, they will deem the warranty null and void. I really want the exhaust, but they are saying it will cost approx £780 plus vat. I feel as if I'm being held over a barrel here.
So, I am considering my options, which are see if anyone else can provide a similar warranty or forget the warranty (£1100 per year - doesn't include) from where I bought the car. The car won't be tracked and will cover approx 2,000 to 3,000 miles a year.
It does have its problems, for example the day after I bought it from a reputable Porsche specialist, the clutch went. 120 miles after that the coolant pipes started leaking and that was only 130 miles ago. Oh, and I paid £600 towards the cost of the clutch (most people tell me that they would have given the keys back and taken back their cash - but I liked the guys).
So, now I am being told that I use them to fit the exhaust and pay 10 hours labour - but this could increase or if I fit it using a Porsche specialist it would void the warranty which I paid for. :frustrated: :frustrated: :frustrated:
