After looking for a few months I think I have finally found my car: 996 Turbo manual with under 40,000 miles. PPI is being done this week and fingers crosssed all should be good! All being well should be sat in my garage in a fortnight!

Thanks T8, I hold you partly responsible as you gave me some great advice on the cost of ownership so after dithering between a Gen2 C2s i have now finally decided. Same colour as your old car!!

Epic cars OP, good choice. Hugely capable when the chassis has a good geo set up, yet effortless mile-munchers too. They are surprisingly frugal on long trips if you are restrained with the loud pedal; quite the opposite if you enjoy lots of hooning :grin:

Hope all goes well with the PPI.

Car passed PPI today with flying colours so purcahse now confirmed. Collection is next Saturday !!

The guys at http://www.rpmspecialistcars.co.uk/ have been great. Very straight and easy to deal with!
