Hi Guys,

I am thinking about buying a replacement set of OEM wheel centre caps for my 997, as my current set are not OEM. The prices I have found so far seem to vary a lot:

Design911 - £35.71 x 4 = £142.84 + £0.00 Postage - £142.84
Porscheshop - £24.17 x 4 = £96.67 + £5.99 Postage - £102.66
ClimaRepair - £14.39 x 4 = £57.56 + £0.00 Postage - £57.56

I am not convinced the last set are really OEM? Has anyone purchased these?

Any ideas on where I can get the best deal on a genuine set of 4 new OEM caps, would be much appreciated

Look genuine:

And you are paying on PayPal, so if those boxes are fakes, then you'll get your money back from PayPal for deception.

Steady!

I got a set of these from eBay in exactly the same boxes, admittedly not from the same seller, for less than £10 about 18 months ago. They are NOT genuine, but come in boxes that look convincing enough with correct part numbers etc.

After I bought them, there were other sellers advertising exactly the same centre caps with the same boxes for £40+.

The genuine caps are extortionate for what they are, personally I think its a bit of a gamble whether you get genuine caps from anywhere but the OPC.

Copies are good enough if you can get them for a fair price & if they start to deteriorate after 12 months then just buy a new set. You'd have to buy many sets before getting close to the price you'll pay at the OPC.

My point was with the Buyer's Protection, there isn't a downside.

Chris W / Exel wheels should be able to sort you out.
