Is there a way to date the ribbed belt? could of sworn it had a date on it?

Asked my OPC to change mine (about 70 miles ago) but had a glance at it tonight and it looks a bit old and grubby to me...

Theres no date on it , normally based on service history .. due every 6 years .

What you are looking for on checking is cracking on the ribs , really need it removed to check properly .

There is some writeing on it , Porsche and numbers etc .. that normally stays white for a long time and then will slowly fade .

I very much doubt the OPC didnt change the belt .
