To cut a long story short, my one PAS pipe is being replaced at the moment.
They're also checking to see if both need replacing (due diligence)

Here's the part# on KATALOG 996. (items 8 or 9)

The question being is how long should it take to replace them? Is it a big job?

There is another reason, but depending on (a) the response from the Porsche genius bar ;) and (b) my discussing said findings with the garage tomorrow, all will be revealed.

Thanks in advance,

Dan

Air con pump needs shifting to gain access to the pipe and you can do this without draining the refrigerant once that's done its a reasonably easy job but still a little fiddly around the back of the P/S pump to remove the pipe.

I'd guess it would take me about two hours to do this myself.

I'm intrigued now, what's the big reveal?

If it is the long pre-formed pipe it is several hours.
Mine was replaced as a job from the PPI I had done.
It wasn't cheap but I had the price of the car reduced to reflect the cost of this work.
