Evening gents (and ladies)

I've long been a member of this forum and have had a couple of boosters and 911's but have been without porker for a little while due to business commitment and lack of time to make use

I am now thinking of returning but going racing and a 944s2 seems a good way to go

Has anyone got experience of racing these 1980's front engined beautys

I will be buying a basic racer so won't be stripping out but want any advice on set up, engine, brakes and suspension mods and how to make them fly on the track

Thoughts really appreciated from you guys with the experience

The best advice I can give is to speak to Kev Eacock at EMC in Birmingham and speak to him about current/ex race cars they have for sale. It'll work out far cheaper to buy one already prepped for the rules and regs.

Pretty sure I saw a 968 race car for sale this week for circa £13k too.
