997 top mounts on a 996 C4s/Turbo

So just to be clear, I can fit 997 c2 strut top mounts on my 996 C4s? Or is it 997 c4s top mounts that will fit?

I read it as the former, but stil unclear! :?:

Thus the C4S and Turbo also because I believe all the 4wd 996 share the same top mounts.

Have you discovered a new 996 tax? :D

Bear in mind 996 c4 m030 cars run different top mounts to 996 c4

Perhaps its just the rubber density or something thats different.

 just when i thought i was in for a cheap fix!

is there a 997 top mount equivalent for a c4 with the 030 suspension?

or am i doomed to the 996 tax lol

I'd make a considered decision.

Get a 997 top mount in your hand, and your old 996 one.

See what the differences are. Get the vernier caliper out. If nothing visible / measurable, its probably the compound of the rubber.

A new top mount of any compound is going to be miles better than a knackered top mount.

I need some new top mounts for my turbo, this is very interesting!!

Very interested in this post as I intend doing a full(ish) suspension refurb this winter on my C4S.
Hope someone can come up with a definitive answer before then and save me a few pounds :)
