To continue a separate thread as I started this a few weeks ago in the "what did you buy your 997 thread" my GT2 side skirts. Rockers for a narrow body car have arrived. I liked these as they were more subtle that some of the others available techart etc.
My initial thoughts are a very well made PU product, arrived so well packed I could hardly get it open. these look much better quality than FIBREGLASS and much more flexible
this is the original link and questions etc.

So I offered them up to the car but due to the spray flap infront of the wheels I cant get it to fit snugly so used some bricks to try and get the idea.
the top runs in line with the top of the aerokit front lip which is matt black but it does not hang down as far as the front lip so I am struggling to decide whether to get it painted matt black lip the front lip or body coloured like the existing sills are.
I have attached some pics and would be interested in others thoughts. thanks :thumb: :thumb:

Yeah I'd leave them unpainted if they are the same as the genuine ones, or Matte if not.

Thanks Isys and Nigel yes I am leaning that way, think a matt or satin black would look nice. I had discounted acid green early in the process :floor: so was left with midnight blue of a matt black.

id get them fitted and see if you like them as is as once painted you cnt go back
i would get the bricks painted a tarmac colour so they dont stand out when you are driving ? :thumb:
seriously though they look good and as you say quite subtle

Finally got around to getting these fitted , I am pleased with the way they look on the car. I had them done in a satin grey finish now need to polish up my front lip to get the same sheen. lol
